IDUN Minerals  (Brand Development)

In our project for IDUN Minerals, I worked with four other students to develop concrete improvement proposals that could strengthen the brand and increase customer loyalty.

Challenge. How can a beauty brand stand out in a competitive market with limited direct contact with the end customer?

Focus. The aim was to develop ideas that strengthen relationships with existing customers while making the brand more inclusive and relevant to new target groups.

Method and process. We worked according to the Double Diamond and Design Thinking models. The work included internal and external analyses, target group research, and creative workshops to generate ideas.

Test results. Our proposals showed potential to create more personal customer interaction, including loyalty programs, an improved website, and clearer brand presence.

Result. We presented three strategic action proposals: an advertising campaign in the subway, a tier-based loyalty program with AI-driven recommendations, and a broader range of product shades for greater inclusion.

Insights. The project gave me a deeper understanding of how to combine business development with user centered design, and how data and analysis can be transformed into concrete design solutions.

AcadeMedia (Digital Conversation Cards)

I helped develop a digital prototype of AcadeMedia’s physical conversation card decks to make them more accessible without login or cost. The focus was on preserving the game-like feel of the EPA variant and creating a simple flow for both participants and facilitators. Before the project, the cards required printing and physical distribution, which limited availability and made them difficult to use in digital teaching. After our work, the same experience could be accessed directly online, without delivery time, and could be used both in classrooms and remotely.

Challenge. How do you translate a physical product with social and playful elements into a digital environment without losing its game-like feel or simplicity?

Focus. The goal was to create a digital solution that preserves the educational value and playfulness while becoming more accessible and flexible for both teachers and students.

Method and process. The work was based on the Double Diamond and Design Thinking process. We conducted interviews, created personas, tested the existing site, and developed a prototype in Figma. For idea generation and structure, we used workshops and digital tools such as Miro and Canva.

Test results. Through user testing we identified improvements such as clearer navigation, back buttons, and more intuitive icons, which we iterated into the design.

Result. A responsive, clickable prototype in Figma that gives AcadeMedia a modern and flexible solution for using the cards in more contexts, while preserving the original game-like experience.

Insights. The project gave me valuable experience in translating physical game mechanics into digital interaction and balancing accessibility with safety.

Goldpen (Improving Kontrollavgift.se)

My role. I participated in research, user testing, analysis, and visualization. I was also responsible for large parts of the report and presentation.

Challenge. Many users submitted incorrect appeals. The website was difficult to navigate, the information unclear, and the difference between various types of fees confusing.

Focus. The goal was to make the site simple, clear, and user friendly in order to reduce incorrect cases and ease the workload of customer service.

Method and process. The work followed the Double Diamond and Design Thinking models. We conducted interviews, created personas, tested the current site, and built a prototype in Figma. Workshops and tools such as Miro and Canva were used for idea generation and structure.

Result. A clickable prototype with simpler login, clearer structure, FAQ in focus, language selection at the start, and a chatbot for support.

Insights. Incorrect appeals were mainly caused by unclear information. Small design choices had a significant impact on navigation and trust. Simplicity and clarity proved to be crucial for creating a safer user experience.
